Tile grouting industry has emerged a new generation of tile grout, the polyaspartic resin based grout. It has many performances that are much better than the existing epoxy grout and traditional cement mortar.
Many tilers are not open to the polypro tile grout yet. Here are some ways to help you know how outstanding the polypro tile grout is.
1. Smell: screw out the cap to smell if it has any odor. Pure polypro tile grout does not have any odor. Also, you could burn the cured grout to find out that the smoke is white and odorless.
2. Freeze: pure polypro tile grout can still cure under temperature at -50℃and its performance will not be affected.
3. Grill: grill the grout with a heat gun and the grout does not powder or become brittle since it’s super high-low temperature resistant.
4. Soak: squeeze the grout into water and it can still cure, which means that it can be constructed in wet and humid environment. After curing, its quality does not change.
5. Shovel: when removing the grout residue after grout cures, test out its elasticity with a shovel. Other tile grout is brittle and breaks when it’s shoveled. However, the polypro tile grout is super flexible and can even be removed by hand.
6. Use: the curing time of pure polypro tile grout is short. It’s tack-free in about 30 minutes and fully cures in 4-8 hours.
