Why can polyaspartic coating replace trditional coating March 22, 2024

Polyaspartic coating is in a thick liquid in the packaging. It’s chemically cross-linked and solidifies upon exposure to air. A polyaspartic flexible rubber film is formed after curing.

 

Advantages of polyaspartic coating:

1, The construction can hardly be affected by the ambient temperature and humidity. It can be constructed at a low temperature of -20, high ambient humidity, and even solidified in water.

2, It’s resistant to most of the corrosive media (acid, alkali, salt and long-term immersion in seawater).

3, It’s low temperature resistant and has high temperature stability. It can be used at -20-150in a long term.

4, Weather resistance: it has good aging resistance and can be used outdoor for 30-50 years.

5, Excellent decorative performance: it can be mixed with various dyes, made into different colors.

6, Excellent physical properties: such as high impact resistance, high tensile strength, rolling resistance, high elongation, high flexibility, tear resistance, wear resistance, aging resistance, impact strength, cathode stripping resistance, insulation strength. In addition, it has excellent low temperature toughness. Its hardness can vary from soft rubber (SHAO A30) to hard elastomer (SHAO D75). It has both the high strength of plastic and the high elasticity of rubber. Polyaspartic coating has strong adhesion to steel, aluminum, reinforced cement and wood substrates.
